First vandalism happened too. Someone (maybe a Democrat?) painted our Vietnam memorial in Civic Center Park, downtown.
Oh, you know, the usual. Bribes from lobbyists. Mobster connections. Foreign government (enemies of the USA) contributions to "Re-election Campaigns". Lot's of cash from the driveby's for appearing on a million Sunday talk shows!

And so I must post now, early on this Sunday morn. Greetings AB, All. I am taking granddaughter to Sunday mass and will not be home until three-ish this afternoon. This thread will have to soldier on without me.
But I know that Joe Biden will certainly be a topic of discussion so I’ll type here my thoughts, opinions, analysis and so forth.
Do NOT, for one moment think that Biden is a negative on the OBama ticket, folks. Sure y’all are yukking it up about Biden and his gaffes, buffoonery and well even his hairplugs.
Folk, Joe Biden has been senator from Delaware since 1972 and this isn’t because people don’t like him. Here’s the truth...America is going to love Joe Biden.
First, the ladies in the beauty parlor have too noticed that many of the 7-11’s and Dunkin Donuts are run by Indians. So even though the DC political elites thought Biden’s comment on that matter was politically incorrect, many are going to see Joe as a regular guy, a politician who speaks like one of us. It doesn’t matter what he says, he sounds different from the other politicos and he will be liked for that. As for plagiarism, most Americans don’t even know what this means and it will have no impact.
I’d also point out that Joe fared very well in the early Democratic debates as agreed upon by The Wise I, many Freepers, political pundits and Rush Limbaugh. If he keeps his mind in sync with his mouth, Joe Biden has a gift of gab.
Joe Biden also has a sad compelling story that will make great copy. His wife and infant daughter were killed in an auto accident right before he took his senate seat in 1972. He raised two sons by himself and one of those sons is now Delaware’s AG and is going to soon be shipped out to Iraq, yes he is. This alone will negate any bad stuff on Joe’s record as regards Iraq.
Joe also suffered a brain aneuryism that almost killed him, the same thing that killed that Stubbs woman.
We’re talking great copy here, folks, copy of the sorts the ladies in the beauty parlor will love.
The local impact of this event is causing, as you might imagine, much glee, zeal and joy here in Delaware. Where, as it turns out, yesterday I attended a crab feast to raise money for Delaware’s pubbie nominee for Governor, Judge Bill Lee.
At which, you should smile, I sat for an hour and a half with Judge Lee, who came over and sat with ME I might add where I was sitting and eating crabs and picking them for granddaughter. Who must, by age five as I told her, be able to pick her own damn crabs as THAT’S THE RULE!
I am a big true crime afficiando and Bill Lee was the presiding judge on the Thomas Capano case. While I did set Judge Lee straight on matters of immigration (this is the guy who said on local talk radio that first thing he would give all illegal immigrants driver’s licenses) and other major matters of state, I talked about the Capano case and what a joy, folks, what a joy. My bigger thrill was discussing that most famous of true crimes and definitely Delaware’s most major and publicized crime. As an aside, Judge Lee told me that Capano is now very fat in jail and will never get the needle.
Anyhoo.....it was quite a joyous day as you might imagine for a bunch of Delaware political junkeys. As expected, yours truly was right in thick of it....heh.
Scuttlebutt is that Biden will run for BOTH senator and VP, as did Joe Lieberman I might remind. Should he win VP then Delaware’s Nanny Minner will likely appoint, get this, Joe’s son Beau....who is Delaware’s AG and just went through puberty not long ago.
But then, scuttlebutt goes, Beau is set to ship out to Iraq via National Guard so who else might old hag lesbian Minner choose to replace Joe....assuming he wins the VP slot? Why she will appoint her own fine self as senator!
Should that happen I might move back to Merryland.
Anyhoo I will peruse the thread upon return from my exciting day of church, playland at McDonald’s and seeing Star Wars Clones at the movie.
