I saw that mush fest with Caroline Kennedy too and I doubt she had a clue in hell what Biden had said before. Per Roger Hedgecock on yesterday radio, Biden is a Lyin' of the Senate Senator Kennedy great pal and Uncle Teddy probably just told her to pick him.

I have a secondary theory. Eric Holder, an old Clinton operative, may have pushed Biden too if Hillary saw him as a negative (blowing the new politics, voted for the Iraq war and didn't cut funding for the troops--that one goes both ways, etc.)

Very good reportage, Miss Didi!

Just one question—I’m drawing a blank here... Who is the Eyebrow?

Looks that way from what I am reading about it.

I would go so far as to say that none of the info on Factcheck.org is factual when it comes to Obama at this point.

By understanding this it does not mean Senator Biden has a character or other mental health disorder.

OK, but I hope you'll agree it doesn't preclude him having a character or mental health disorder, too.

I've watched a lot of Sunday shows, and know Biden well. He is a dumb, mouthy jerk. Kind of like that guy Biff in Back to the Future. That's my assessment.

Flooded buses in New Orleans?

Exactly.

Buses that the Democrat Mayor and Governor did not even TRY to evacuate a single low income person with even though their own Evacuation Plan specifically stated that low income people without transportation of their own would be evacuated on all available public buses.

The Democrats, not Bush, allowed those people to drown.

However, for the sake of not stepping on any Democrat's sensitive toes, George W. Bush has never mentioned those buses. Instead, he has allowed himself to be branded as a racist who allowed black people to drown.

Bush has therefore allowed himself, without rebuttal, to be portrayed as a buffoon, at best, or as a racist responsible for black deaths, at worst.

Romney’s primary concession speech was very good contrasting the difference between Republicans and Democrats

http://archive.redstate.com/stories/special_events/romneys_speech_conservatives_take_heart

Coming from Massachusetts, I saw first hand the liberal future, and it doesn’t work. That’s why I ran against Ted Kennedy. Liberal social programs weren’t solving poverty; they were in fact creating a culture of poverty. I didn’t win, but at least Teddy had to take out a mortgage on his home to beat me.

I was once campaigning in a poor section in Boston when a person came up to me and said: “What are you doing here? This is Kennedy country.” I looked around at the vacant store fronts and boarded up windows and replied: “Yeah, it looks like Kennedy country.”

No, it is the conservative coalition represented here that can build a brighter future for America: economic conservatives, social conservatives, and national security conservatives.

If I'm loosely counting up 17 million in loose cash for insider trading and moving markets to your investment, where is the other 83 million? I wonder.

I saw the potential of economic conservatism when I became governor. The state budget was $3 billion short. Liberals wanted to raise taxes, but I cut government instead.

I went after taxes as well. The Legislature passed a $250 million retroactive capital gains tax increase. I knew my veto would be overridden by the 85% Democrat majority. So I had the Department of Revenue send every taxpayer a pro forma bill for their new higher taxes,

and then I waited for folks to call their legislators. And did they ever. Then, I sent the Legislature an amendment that turned the $250 million tax increase into a $250 million refund. Amazingly, the Legislature now saw the error of their ways.

I didn’t stop there. We made the investment tax credit permanent. We passed sales tax holidays. We gave tax breaks to medical manufacturing companies. We gave real estate tax breaks to seniors. And in each of my last three years, I submitted a budget that cut the income tax.

It’s time for some economic conservatism in Washington as well.

Exactly. How could Mama Biden be that wealthy if her husband was a “boiler repairman”. Did she remarry into money?

Mama Biden "owns" those houses for the most Republican of reasons: to pay the lowest property tax possible. Many states limit, if not eliminate, increases in property taxes borne by senior citizens.

Not sure if Delaware falls into that category, but it's the most logical.

The choice of VP candidate is never determinative.

In late August some people say it is.

But it never is.

Democrats in Washington are itching to raise taxes – 2011 is set to be a record breaking tax hike. Not if I’m President. I’ll fight to stop the tax hike.

And I’ll fight for a new savings plan for middle class Americans as well – one that will grow the economy and help families at the same time. Under my plan, the amount of tax they will pay on dividends, interest and capital gains will be absolutely zero.

It’s high time to take government apart and put it back together, but this time simpler, smarter and smaller.
