A top Clinton advisor also told CNN they were "outraged," over how the process was conducted.
"You can't put [Obama VP vetters] Eric Holder and Carolyn Kennedy on an hour plane ride to Chappaqua just to check the box? They should have done it just for the optics," this person said. "Barack never even said to her, 'Here's how I envision the job' not one discussion with her about [the position]."
"They thought her supporters were mad before? They are really mad now," this person also said. We knew it was never going to happen but you would have thought they might at least make a show of it."
Former Clinton strategist Paul Begala echoed similar frustrations on CNN Friday night.
"I think there are a lot of Hillary voters who are going to say, 'Hey, wait a minute, man You said you were going to put her on the short list. You know, you didn't even vet her. You didn't call her. You didn't seek her advice,'" Begala said. "By the way, he didn't seek President Clinton's advice either. He's actually the guy who I think picked the best vice president in American history. You would think maybe you would sort of check in with him."

Heard last night that obambi and biden aren’t going to set foot in the Pepsi Center. They’ll show up for the Invesco Field gala.
These are the craziest bunch of loons on the planet and given the loon that’s Putin, that is saying a lot
The IN crowd?
“My friends, each of you is a single cell in the great body of the State. And today, that great body has purged itself of parasites. We have triumphed over the unprincipled dissemination of facts. The thugs and wreckers have been cast out. And the poisonous weeds of disinformation have been consigned to the dustbin of history. Let each and every cell rejoice! For today we celebrate the first, glorious anniversary of the Information Purification Directive! We have created, for the first time in all history, a garden of pure ideology, where each worker may bloom secure from the pests of contradictory and confusing truths. Our Unification of Thought is a more powerful weapon than any fleet or army on Earth! We are one people. With one will. One resolve. One cause. Our enemies shall talk themselves to death. And we will bury them with their own confusion! We shall prevail!”
(Text of Apple’s 1984 TV commercial)
Gore was the best vice president in American history?!? Thanks for the laugh, that made my day!
Don't know about that, but they have been quite quiet, hopefully they won't quit.
I am SO going to tell all the professors that the next time I deliver a guest lecture at the university.
My Democrat friends have already decided they’re voting for McCain.
her total lack of foreign policy experience especially during wartime?
At least Obama was born in a foreign country!
>> “Al Gore the best vice president ever...
Proof that behind Begala’s ample forehead lies not much in the way of brains.
The whole “3 AM message to get back for the ‘3 AM’ TV spot” meme makes BHO look like the petty, small minded , narcissistic POS that it truly is.
Something how the greatest vice-president in history couldn’t carry his home state of Tennessee.
You are right, they are a hoot. I hope they stay mad.
Did he really announce his choice at 3am ? Ouch !
hear not evil
say no evil
see no evil
because......
Sandy Berger will do it for us! after all.....he was the..
“19th United States National Security Advisor under President Bill Clinton from 1997 to 2001. In his position, he helped to formulate the foreign policy of the Clinton Administration. During this time he advised the President regarding the Khobar Towers bombing, Operation Desert Fox and other actions against Iraq, the NATO bombing campaign against Yugoslavia, responses to the terrorist bombings of American embassies in Kenya and Tanzania, and the administration’s policy of engagement with the People’s Republic of China. He was also one of the prominent actors of the Camp David 2000 Summit.
Before joining the administration Berger had worked as an international trade attorney. Currently, he is chairman of an international advisory firm and chairman of the board of an international investment fund. Living in the Georgetown section of Washington, D.C., he is married to Susan Berger and has three children (two daughters and one son).
In April 2005, Berger pled guilty to a misdemeanor charge of unauthorized removal and retention of classified material from the National Archives in Washington. According to the lead prosecutor in the case Berger only took copies of classified information and that no original material was destroyed; however, there is notable controversy and speculation that he might have removed or destroyed originals of other unknown documents as well.
Berger served as a foreign policy adviser to Senator Hillary Clinton in her 2008 presidential campaign.”
We knew it was never going to happen but you would have thought they might at least make a show of it.”
Damn......... Typical I guess of most if not all politicians.
The selection/election of a President/VP is serious business not some game even though they approach it that way at times.
I love to laugh at them. They only become more "outraged" when you do.
Sorry to be stupid but what filing in Fed court are you talking about. Did search and came up empty for Friday on Federal and Court. Is it good?
YES!!!
I agree. My thought last night when it looked like it would be Biden was that it was such a poor choice and Obama is stupid, but Biden? I wondered if the Clintons had visited/called the VP candidates and pressured them into rejecting an offer to be on the ticket with Obama and Biden was the only one who either wasn’t threatened,. . . er I mean convinced to reject the offer or he just had too much ambition and jumped at the chance anyway.
Obama Sued in Federal Court on Grounds he is Constitutionally Ineligible |

Good comment. The way I see it he gets my vote whether I like him or not. He loved my country enough to be willing to give his life for it. Contrast with the Marxist, hate America, Black Liberation Theology, Chicago thug.
