Joe Biden provides an example as to why there should be term limits on congressman. He is a poster boy for the “out of touch” and “out of time” crowd in Washington. I have followed him for years starting with the Watergate Hearings.
I don’t adhere to the “everything is fair in love and politics” mantra. As he mentioned, in his less than factual speech, he and McCain are very good friends. With friends like Biden, who needs enemies.
Let the fun begin. Obama blew his White House bid today. Unless, of course, George Soros can figure out a way to tank the stock market in the month before elections. In that case, all bets are off.
This VP process by camp BHO was a disaster.
1)The text message should have gone out at 3 pm yesterday - not early am today.
2)The VP choice is odd at best. Hillary (despite her campaign debt and the baggage she brings)was by far and away his best choice. His second best choice was Bayh. Biden gives him nothing - worse, he is a liability.
3)The speeches today were terrible at best. The gaffes were too many to count.
You know, Bob Beckel is an old pro. Sure he tows the party line but he will speak his mind from time to time. I think it is quite obvious by his words and facial expressions that he sees Biden as a disaster. The BHO (or Barack America)spell is wearing off. If McCain stays steady he will win this with some room to spare.
