Been laughing this morning at the press spinning Plugs Biden as Obama’s pick to add “experience” to the ticket — in other words, “gravitas.”
Biden as Obama’s Cheney, what a joke! Biden is the ANTI-GRAVITAS pick of our dreams.
And as if to subtly undermine his own pick, Obama referred to Biden several times in his introduction as “still that scrappy kid from Scranton,” it’s like he had to conjure up imagery that made Biden junior to him by talking so much about stuff from Biden’s youth and early career. This says to me that he’s very uncomfortable with having picked the entrenched, status-quo old politician.
Obama must be afraid of losing PA. His internal polling must be giving him some bad news.
