The first shot from the McCain campaign is an effort to embarrass Biden, and Obama, with a couple of things the new Democratic running mate has said. During the primaries last year, when Biden was still running for the nomination, he questioned Obama's readiness for the job. And back in 2005, Biden said he'd be honored to run "with or against" McCain.

The Democratic effort to blunt that: McCain 2005 isn't the same guy he is now.

I keep getting this image of Biden in a rocking chair bounding a grinning Obama on his knee. Biden was right Obama being President is really a joke. A study in inexperience that should leave even an ardent supporter asking "Is there not more?".

:::::::
As we know, the problems with The Obamination are worse than JUST inexperience. His neo-communist political stance, radical leftist politics, his gross anti-Americanism, rabid desire to DISARM AMERICA, is all the stuff of a brainwashed college-campus-communist. To say nothing of his ASSOCIATIONS AND SUPPORT FOR RADICAL ANTI-AMERICANS AND TERRORISTS.

That is really all he is. Commander-in-Chief of the United States of America?? God forbid.

Even Yahoo’s home page has a link right now to an article that says “The candidate of change chooses the “ultimate insider” as his running mate.”

That ad was great. I think the part that showed Obama with his chin up in the air after Biden spoke about him was probably the most damning part of the ad.

Pelosi is ‘experienced’, but I surely wouldn't want her either. It's about more than experience. To me it's about whether or not the person is such an ardent ideologue that they can't see the truth.

Interesting: The new running mate’s choice for Dem running mate four years ago?
John McCain!

Yep, Biden was a poss. running mate for Kerry in ‘04, “but Biden urged Kerry to select Republican Senator John McCain instead”

No wonder they’re doing the Obamessiah’s speech in a football stadium. He and Biden couldn’t get their HEADS to fit in a regular convention hall.

You know, I’ve been very impressed with how fast the McCain camp has responded to all of B. Hussein’s bull crap. Their response (”Now, That’s a Housing Problem”) to Obama trying to make politicl hay out of McCain’s housing “gaffe” was terrific. They are on top of their game. No wusses they.

“I’ve had a great relationship [with Indian Americans],” Biden said. “In Delaware, the largest growth in population is Indian-Americans moving from India. You cannot go to a 7-Eleven or a Dunkin’ Donuts unless you have a slight Indian accent. I’m not joking.”

http://voices.washingtonpost.com/thefix/2008/08/the_case_against_joe_biden.html

Wouldn’t be hilarious if McCain picks Jindal? Then we could remind everyone that Biden thinks American’s of Indian decent all belong in Kwik E Marts.

Nothing says “change” more than someone who has been in Washington since Nixon

Wow! McCain folks were “Johnny on the Spot” on that one!

In all likelihood, they had prepared similar ads for all of Obama's prospective selections. Once the announcement was made, it was just a matter of rolling out the right one.

They probably had a series of the ready to go. However, I'd bet the Biden one was the easiest to write.
