I think they're far from naïve or arrogant in this case--dumb, perhaps, but that is relative to whether one really cares about what is good for the Democrat Party.

I expect them to play up Biden's so-called foreign policy bona fides and experience as an apparent counterweight--and complement--to Obama.

As I said in an earlier post, this is the token old white dude pick, which may perhaps be the first time that an old white guy is considered to be "token;" Willie Nelson was not available for comment. ;)
