I didnt know Russia had a right to enter Georgia and to loot its military storage.
Ill keep it simple:
Russia had a military presence in Georgia in the form of a peace keeping force. Georgia has been trying to force ethnic Russian civilians from the area ("ethnic cleansing"). South Ossetia had wanted to be a part of Russia, not Georgia. Georgian military forces were ready to enter South Ossetia and force the people to accept Georgian authority. Additional Russian forces were sent in to reinforce the peace keeping force and protect the ethnic Russians.
All countries do not operate under the same humanitarian restrictions that we use. Russians met the Georgian forces and attacked. Capturing the enemys military equipment has long been a part of war.
Since when did Ossetians (Iranic) become “ethnic Russians” (East Slavic)?
