Very well written, and worth reading the whole thing. The second page includes excerpts from the transcript of the senate session in question and proves that McCarthy is not exaggerating.

I have also read—though not recently—that Obama’s wonderful “church” in Chicago owns a hospital where late-term abortions were regularly performed—a profitable procedure. Therefore, still another reason why he voted to let these babies die was that it might be inconvenient for this hospital, which was basically under the leadership of Rev. Wright, Obama’s good friend and patron.

I would like to see more confirmation of that, if it is true.

My husband noted that there is a conflict of interest here. Obama’s church has a significant relationship with this hospital where Jill Stanek worked, IIRC. At the very least, church leaders serve on the board of the hospital. These abortions are a money-maker for the hospital I would think, to be very crass, even though the hospital is a non-profit. Given a relationship between the hospital and the church, Obama should have recused himself when this came before the IL Senate.
