Believe all you want. There’s no crime in believing that you need 3 wives to make it to heaven. You can even believe that the younger the wives, the better.

Huh? I am an Atheist. Do you need more Paxil?

But don’t have sex with a minor girl and don’t barter your daughters so that other men can do so. Do not conspire with others to arrange for the sex.

You are one sick pedophile do you know that? At what age did you discover your sickness?

When does teaching become illegal? Possibly when you teach your children that they can get to be closer to Allah in heaven if they kill infidels. Possibly when you teach little girls that marriage at 12 is following the will of the prophet and you god and more than likely when you start training them for their role in a “spiritual marriage.”

How about when you teach that your God's mother was a child herself?

Most likely the line is crossed when you conspire with others to teach your children these things.

RICO statutes maybe? LOL Then we should be able to arrest all those Creationists and half the posters on FreeRepublic. Hmm, maybe you should double your dosage today?

I wasn’t using the royal “you.” It was the general, colloquial, conversational “you.”

As to my belief that Jesus is the Son of God, born of a virgin named Mary:

There is quite a bit of difference between Mary’s personal decision to submit her will to the Creator of the universe, and the flds community’s teaching girls that the prophet will give them in marriage and sometimes forcing those marriages. The daughter swaps are even farther removed from self-giving and self-submission.

BTW, I grew up Baptist, we didn’t focus so much on the age of Mary, just her faith and willingness serve the Lord. Now that I give the matter some thought, I assume that the actual “I AM,” the Creator and Sustainer of the universe knew how old she was, when she was ready to become the mother of Jesus, and that was that.

I do believe that the Creator gave us free will, the faculty to choose between right and wrong. It’s right to “self” sacrifice for the others He created. “Sacrifice” should always be preceded by “self.”

I’ve never met an atheist who can consistently agree to the existence of “free will” or why he or anyone could believe in right and wrong, or truth, beauty or justice, much less love, as anything but mechanical survival techniques.

“Love,” “beauty,” “truth,” and “justice” are some of the reasons I believe in the Creator who loved us so much that He became Emmanuel.
