Norway's Defense Ministry says Russia has informed it that it plans to cut all military ties with NATO.
Ministry spokeswoman Heidi Langvik-Hansen says the country's embassy received a telephone call from Russia's Defense Ministry on Wednesday, saying Moscow plans "to freeze all military cooperation with NATO and allied countries."

I guess our space program will be on hold (since we pretty much rely on the Russian space system). Hmmmm.
You know how you can tell things are so bad in Russia right now? They are being humiliated at the Olympics...there used to be a time when a unified Soviet Union came off as the supreme communist power in the world.
China proved the past 12 days who is in the driver’s seat...Russia is a big mess.
NATO was created to fight Russia - I wonder what ties they have that are effective?
Is Russia ready to go to war against the west? Nope, China would walk north and just take the old fields and Russia will become North China and be gone.
Russia blew it, the media blames President Bush, America is doing what is can to restore order and calm people down.
I think we should have told them long ago.. “ I am not firing you. I am providing you with an opporitunity to succeed elswhere.”
