RALEIGH, NC -- Sen. Barack Obama, D-Illinois, is almost always diligent about saying "he or she" when discussing his potential running mate.
But at a lively town hall meeting in the Tarheel State Tuesday evening, the senator -- who is expected to announce his vice presidential pick at the end of this week -- used a decidedly male pronoun.
Asked what his plan is to utilize his vice president as President Bush utilized his, Obama said, "Let me tell you first what I wont do. I wont hand over my energy policy to my vice president, without knowing necessarily what hes doing."

At first I didn't believe my source. He is in tight with the governor, and a billionaire with a b. I do a lot of work for him and he shoots straight. So, I believe him.

Please take Sebelius. Our state is now at the bottom of the midwest barrel thanks to her crazy, heavy handed publicity stunts. We’ve all been soaked to finance her escapades to get Barack to notice her. We can’t afford another two years of her.

Makes sense. He needs to carry VA. Although I don’t think Kaine adds much beyond that. Obama is an unknown, therefore he sort of needs to pick someone that the nation instantly recognizes and trusts. Now Obama and Kaine are basically nationally unknown...and can be defined.

I do think Kaine is ready for prime time. I've met him a couple of times, and he is magnetic. He's got that Clinton like charm.
If Virginia turns blue, I'll die.

I agree. I find his left eyebrow to be hypnotizing.

Exactly my thoughts. Although I’m still not discounting a coup attempt in Denver.
