In this day and age, why is abortion the number one concern for so many Republicans?
Don’t we have bigger fish to fry at this point in our lives?
Russia is looking at re-creating their union.
Muslims are trying to kill us.
We are being attacked by Global Warming Enthusiasts.
Gas prices are through the roof.
Taxes are choking us.
We have a horrendous deficit.
Illegal aliens are invading our country and destroying our social services.
Yet, we are all worked up about abortion?
Fundamental instinct of the human race...don't kill. Politics won't ever wipe it out. Sorry.
I detest abortion as much as anyone, but I agree with you that we must consider ALL issues.

Ethics and values are timeless. Where you stand on the fundamental issues of life, liberty, religious expression, etc. determines what perspective you would use to determine all the present day problems like Russia-Georgia.
Discard ethics and values and you’ll be wandering around aimlessly (like Obama this past weekend).
If you could do it, I'd suggest asking the infant that could have lived but wasn't wanted.
