He was excellent! For sure!
You want an honest answer? I can’t stand McCain and he blew Obama away. He looked confident, sounded self-assured, knew exactly what his answers should be and they were the right answers 98% of the time, didn’t equivocate at all and he was witty, self-effacing and comfortable.
You probably couldn’t find a bigger critic of John McCain than me (dating back to POW/MIA hearings in the early 90’s regarding a missing family member in the Viet Nam)
As of tonight, I will be voting for John McCain with no regrets. It’s taken a long time to come around to this.
McCain did a great job. He was very Reaganesque and did nto seem to be trying. He is clearly sharp mentally and his vast experience is obvious. He has learned all the issues. He does not need questions in advance. He really is a senior statesman of our country. And this from me, far from a McCain fan before now. I wondered how much better off we may have been if he had beaten Dubya in 2000, He would have trounced Gore and Kerry
