This looks staged to allow Obama to answer charges. Notice one question allowed him to call himself “selfish”..which plays to arrogance. Warren goes “I like that”.
Then Warren asks a flip flop question by stating how it is good to flip flop a lot of times.

Warren wants to know about his flip flops in his life. 10 years ago, the issue of welfare reform. He was concerned that it could have had disastrous results but he thinks now it worked better than anticipated.
He believes people must work. Well, duh.
