It’s from her web site.
That picture was taken way back when she became House Whip.
IIRC, it was taken in the House of Representatives.
Someone mentioned diminished capacity preventing a trial on corruption etc. . . . I think about Nanny Rachet . . .
Maybe she could buy a Chinese mock-up of such capacity at WalMart on the way back to DC.
RUSH: Oh, by the way, there's Boone Pickens up on TV. Boone Pickens, it has been learned last spring, Nancy Pelosi, according to her own financial forms, invested something like 50 to $125,000 in Boone Pickens' plan to eventually power vehicles in this country on natural gas. She got in on the initial public offering of this when the thing went public. Now, it is in the best interests of Boone Pickens and all of his investors to keep gasoline prices high to make the natural gas alternative attractive. And who is it that doesn't want any drilling for oil to add to the supply but none other than Nancy Pelosi. Gas prices are the tipping point, four-dollar gasoline. The American people want something done about it. It's easily understandable. She's the one, along with the Democrats, standing in the way of this on purpose. Now we learn that she's invested in Boone Pickens' company that, for their little plan to pay off we need gas prices to stay high, to make the alternatives that Pickens is trying to sell to people attractive, and she's joined that effort. There's a great question here for conflict. So she's seen all this, "Okay, I'm open to scheduling a vote." But they'll come up with a piece of legislation that's as reckless and worthless as what the Gang of Ten came up with in the Senate.
Pelosi, Pickens plan to pick your pocket

Thanks for the ping!
Thanks!
About that big meeting is scheduled for August 19. It’s supposed to be nonpartisan. So let me see who might be partnering with Pickens and the Center for American Progress Action Fund for this National Clean Energy Summit.
Such characters as President Clinton, New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg, Gov. Janet Napolitano of Arizona, Gov. Bill Ritter of Colorado, and, of course, Mr. Pickens. And flying around overhead looking for piles of cash buried in the landscape will be none other than Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid.
Not one of these notables would have any interest whatsoever in this little confab were it not for the possibility, or rather, assurances of future cash landing on their doorsteps, I’d wager.
And for crying out loud, what does Bill Clinton know about energy? Just because he can fool everybody and sell ice to eskimos does not mean he knows anything about anything.
Except charminess. Victims are easily charmed. It’s what keeps predators in the business of outmaneuvering their victims. Works every time. As long as victims are naive and gullible and think they need to be rescued from their plight.
So Pickens is going to outfit this new clean energy summit going group with his Big Plan. All they have to do is give him money. And more money.
I have an idea. And it has nothing to do with Pickens’ farm of wind turbines. It’s about a local school district here in Illinois. I wish I’d saved the article from our local newspaper.
Anyway, this one school district put up one lonely little wind turbine that they use just for electricity needs in their district buildings. Cost savings? $100,000 a year.
So if one lonely little school district can put up a wind turbine and free themselves from the fuel they otherwise would use, why can’t municipalities do it? And why can’t other school districts do it?
Why are we all sitting around waiting for the bureaucratically choked up federal government sitting up there under The Dome to do something. One wind turbine = $100,000 savings a year!
Now that’s fiscal responsibility!
Term limits. We need term limits. We the Peoples can have term limits this very election. All we have to do is de-elect incumbents who are not representing the interests and concerns of the American taxpayers/voters.
You still have time to do your homework. Find out how your congressionmen/women and senators are voting.
It’s just sooooo easy. Go to www.congress.org and type your zip code into the search box. Then click on the “votes” tab when your congressional’s page comes up and you’ll be able to see how your congressionals are voting.

The Audacity of Nope
Obamas oil policy.

Since 1981, Congressional appropriations amendments effectively have barred Interior from financing or permitting survey expeditions particularly and precisely in the 85 percent of the Outer Continental Shelf where oil production and exploration are verboten.
In 2005, Congress mandated new, quintennial inventories, then gave Interior six months and $0.00 to assess how much oil and natural gas undergird the 1.76 billion-acre Outer Continental Shelf a laughably impossible task.
They couldnt even board a research vessel, explains a congressional staffer who studies these issues. Interiors paper inventory, the aide adds, examined Canadian and West African coastal data, imagined where those sediments pooled before the Continental Drift, then extrapolated to guesstimate whats off our Atlantic coast today.
The resulting document states: Resource estimates are highly dependent on the current knowledge base, which has not been updated in 20 to 40 years for areas under congressional moratorium. . . . Translation: We have no idea whats really out there.
Obamas Oil SENSE Act would repeal the 2005 Energy Policy Acts authorization of these inventories. Introduced in January 2007, S.115 would leave decision makers with Carter Administration maps drawn with pre-PC technology.
That was the historic day Pelosi had Capitol Police remove the press, and more;
Obamas so bright we can just face our solar shields his way day or night, more of tire pressures ancient technology only;

Obamas bill would prohibit expanded use of 3-D, color seismic techniques that locate and measure underwater oil deposits even though those tools are in wide use where offshore drilling is allowed, such as the western Gulf of Mexico.
In October 1999, President Clintons Energy Department evaluated the environmental quality of 1970s 2-D equipment against last decades 3-D technology.
With the latter, Energy concluded, Overall impacts of exploration and production are reduced because fewer wells are required to develop the same amount of reserves.
In 1970, 17 percent of offshore wells struck oil. By 1997, that figure was 48 percent.
That's gonna be bad. If you think the sticker shock for automotive gasoline (and the effect on "summer driving") is bad, wait until the folks using fuel oil to heat their houses get the first bill of the upcoming cold season. They don't have the option of simply cancelling the vacation to the mountains.
What is the cost of the Democrat "No Domestic Energy Policy?"
All of that puts the U.S. in a position that war for oil or
complete economic collapse will be our only choices.
You can't frustrate every source of domestic energy
without consequences. Our enemies will blackmail us
to the extent that we are vulnerable to blackmail.
The Democrats are leading us into a real war for oil.
A war we won't have the energy to fight.
Yeah okay...sure....I may not be able to get to work next week...but, that isn’t real now is it?
I really don’t care how long you say you have been in “the business” and how high up I am supposed to believe you are. What I can tell you is that I did not contradict myself. You see, I have spent many, many years at a fortune 100 company that was not even supposed to have succeeded. But they did...they did because they did not sit around talking about what could NOT be done and spent their time, energy and money into creating the solutions. You, on the other hand, look for ways to say no and ridcule and speak down to those who say yes.
And please do not tell me that you understand my frustrations. It’s quite clear by your posts that you do not. As for no guarantees in life...dude you are preaching to the chior and your assumption that I may cater to Socialsim is insulting. I expect no guarantees. What I want is for naysayers such as your self to get the hell out of the way
