Apparently the victim owns several car dealerships in the area. Perhaps the perp was an employee.
How very sad. IMHO it must have been what they call a “passion murder.” For someone to shoot another person five times at close range like that usually indicates a real anger about a personal situation of some sort. They want the victim to see them, it is part of their revenge. At least, so I have heard.
All I’m saying is that you said you weren’t familiar with the victim, but proceeded to say the shooter was likely a Hillary supporter. People have been doing this all afternoon and I’m not sure why. A little research never killed anyone.
Incidentally, FWIW, the local LR stations are reporting a man fitting the description of dead assailant pulled a gun in the offices of the Baptist General Convention of Arkansas a few minutes before the shooting at the Rat headquarters and claimed he just lost his job. He left without further incident.
Well, I read through the rest of the thread where information was provided. It sure wasn’t by the post. Then I merely speculated, like most people do around here. Is that okay with you?
Geesh.

Terry Hastings of the Little Rock Police Department said Bill Gwatney died at 3:59 p.m. at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences hospital.
Hastings said they have preliminarily identified the suspect but did not name him. Hastings said the suspect was not a former employee of Gwatney’s but that he is from Arkansas. The suspect died at Baptist Hospital, Hastings said.

Did you move?
Because he's dead now.
Anyhoo, he did not find who he wanted to shoot, so he left and that is where the cops picked up his trail in a blue pickup, and they shot him some 25 miles down the road.
There's a headline you don't see every day. Almost, but not quite every day.
Little Rock police are saying the suspect was NOT a former employee of Gwatney.
Officers told Little Rock CBS affiliate KTHV-TV, Channel 11, that police pursued a white male suspect described as being in his 40s, driving a pickup truck, into Grant County. KTHV reported that officers apprehended him in Sheridan, and that he was shot during his capture.
State Police spokesman Bill Sadler told ArkansasBusiness.com earlier that the suspect was airlifted from the scene in Sheridan to an unknown hospital.
A news conference, originally set for 2:30 p.m., has been pushed back to 4 p.m., according to Little Rock Police.
He’s dead, unless there are two separate assailants and locations and they have them all mixed up.
“I’m not quite dead yet”.
“No but he will be soon”.
It’s terrible. Poor man.
I’m also highly suspicious. Arkansas? Is this the beginning?
Hell, Robert Wexler has been a congres critter in S.E. Florida for years and he doesn’t even live in the state.
That would be typical Clintonion tactics
Release a statement to deflect any questions the MSM might ask about the event by expressing sympathy for the family and freinds
