Frivolous and non-sensical.
McCain was born at the Coco Solo Naval Air Station in the Panama Canal Zone, which was then Sovereign American territory. Both his father and grandfather were high-ranking Admirals in the U.S. Navy.
Don't these idiots bother to read U.S. law and history?

> The guys filing this suit are assclowns. <
Not only that:
The complaint is so absurd and so frivolous that the plaintiff and her attorney should be sacntioned by the Court. I believe the federal statutes and precedents would give the District Judge wide latitude to do so.

And what makes them think that Obama has good credentials or ever registered for selective service?

...this certainly gives cover for those asking nicely to review Obamas birth certificiations. Is this an "I'll show you mine if you'll show me yours" moment?

Wouldnt it be funny if both McCain and Obama were disqualified? Might as well get a laugh out of all this. It would be real funny. Well, funny right up to the moment they start swearing in Hillary as President. Then it would cease being funny.

notice they are not challenging Barry’s birth certificate....interesting.

Any US territory qualifies for citizenship at birth. This suit is useful because it also indirectly asks the same question about Obammy.

This is not the Alan Keyes I knew.

This is a good thing. A legal dust up over the eligibility of McCain and Obama may cause us to insist that candidates for public office establish their eligibility before competent authority, not just assert that they are eligible. Far more Democrats than Republicans will fall afoul of this sort of scruitny.
As for this lawsuit, its frivilous and should be treated as such. Its just designed to garner free publicity for this wacko and obscure group. They succeeded.

This is a nonstarter but it should be a precedent for those with questions about just Where Hussein was born. Such suits in many states could force O’Bama to produce a real BC and prove its provenance (or quit the race.)

The American Independent Party has “nominated” Alan Keyes for president. I guess they're not concerned about Obama occupying the White House.

“McCain was born at the Coco Solo Naval Air Station in the Panama Canal Zone”
I think the actual hospital was off-base in Panama proper, not the Zone. It does not matter, though, as long as his parents are both US citizens he could have been born in the Mars Colony.
Hey, maybe the judge will expand the suit to cover Obama, who had one underage citizen parent and a non-citizen parent?

Alan Keyes is the most ethical and righteous man in America. Or so say his defenders. Where are they now that he is suing on the basis that John McCain is not a Natural Born U.S. citizen?
Keyes has abandoned any sense of rationality to hold onto what little fame and impact he has left.
