McCain’s next ad should be all these clips where Obama is trashing the US...it would be so powerful...and devastating. Does such a video exist?

That would be so wonderful. To find out early in the evening and not have to stay up all night feeling so tense.

They may not tell a pollster that, but when they get a chance to vote, I guarantee you, it is not going to be for The Messiah.

You are correct, sir. You are correct.

The Republican senators in that deal....believe -- mistakenly so -- that what the American people want is for Republicans and Democrats to get along.

McCain is as much to blame for this as any of them. After all, he is "the original maverick." For the last decade, he has been setting the example for his friends in the Senate (like Lindsey Graham of South Carolina) that "bipartisan compromise" (basically, acting like a Democrat) is the path to follow.

I've got to believe we are saving some of our most powerful artillery until after the conventions.

Unlike Rush, I am expecting a very close race, but Obama has definitely left the door open for a McCain win.

The only way there will be a landslide is if McCain rides a sled down a steep gravel slope.

We will NEVER see a landslide election in this country again. Every vote in every state will be challenged by lawyers, protestors, and international observers.

If there is a god, he’s giggling his a$$ off right now.

Nov 4th is my birthday, so I’m really hoping it’s a nice one. IIRC, Reagan was elected to is 1st term on my 10th birthday.

We could see a landslide, but I doubt it. This electorate is so damn dumbed down. Here in this state, they traded one of the most effective and hardworking senators out there for a Dimmycrat rubber stamp in 2006, and a dense one at that. So did Missouri.

Rush said today what I've been thinking for months, and other commentators have hinted at for weeks. Time is not on Obama's side, as inevitable scrutiny of his record reveals... no record at all. To their horror, Democrats discovered Obama's glaring weaknesses during the late primaries as Hillary crushed him like a bug. I thought his candidacy would come unraveled in September, but media overexposure and Obama's own arrogant condescension have sped the process of his demise. I believe we may see another Dukakis moment this November...

I fear it won’t be. I do believe the next 4 years are going to be tough. Jimmy Carter redux times a thousand.

Obama’s sponsoring of the Global Poverty Act should not only disqualify him for the nomination, it should be grounds for impeachment from the senate.

What Rush isn't taking into account here is the massive vote fraud machine that the dems will bring to bear, overseen by the Chicago Daley vote fraud machine.

Borderline states will all go for Obamafraud... PA, MI, WI, OHIO, MO, FLA, and probably more.

hey, we revived the question on January 7

What amazes me about Rush is how precise he is in his use of language. He talks, extemporaniously for 3 hours a day. And in the midst of these hours of stream-of-consciousness he comes up with stuff like this:

John Kenneth Galbraith, the noted liberal economist,

Not the "great", because JKG was an idiot who preferred central planning to capitalism and thought that Keynes was brilliant, even after the Chicago school had demonstrated the fallicies with his theories. Not "famous" because few people now have heard of JKG. Not "influential" because despite teaching at Harvard for 30 years he left no school of desciples behind. Not "infamous" because he never did anything bad enough to earn that label. "Noted". Absolutely razor sharp perfect description. Tossed off wihtout a second of premeditation.

There will never be another Rush, and no one would ever call him "noted" !!

Do you really want John McCain as your next President?

We are all totally screwed either way.

At least we will always have the promise of Heaven ever after. Our kids and grandkids et al are going to have to deal with our collective incompetence here on planet Earth. It ain't on just us only, but we are custodians now,

Those children are in for some deep doo doo
