I have been reading Lex's site for a while and think his posts are well thought out but I get nervous when people suggest we break rule number one: Never should 2 regional or world powers face each other directly on the battlefield. I understand that Turkey sacrificed Georgia to the commies in 1922(?) but since the Russians are already accusing them of
taking sides they may be amendable to helping. Still this makes me very nervous.
It wouldn’t be the first time. The Russians sent their best pilots, WWII veterans, in Migs with North Korean markings against US pilots in the Korean war. American pilots in Sabre jets smoked them at better than 10-1.
