This is what the left accuses the US of, but which we never do. Now that their mentors in the Soviet Union are actually doing this, where are their screaming faces and protests? Oh, wait, I just answered my own question in that last rhetorical question.

They are on CNN blaming the U.S. and Georgia for provoking Russia. Sort of like claiming an abused spouse is responsible for his or her own beating or a rape victim wanted it.

We have a few of those types on this thread right now.

This is completely to be expected. It always happens. The really bad thing about it is, there are large numbers of Americans who will bang that drum mindlessly because it reinforces what they already think about the United States.
