I’d think it’s a question of timing. If this issue has legs, then her best move would be to angle for the V.P. position at the convention and let Obama take the spotlight during the election. If they win the election, then she can play this card to disqualify him from taking office, and she as the V.P. reluctantly takes over.
This Hillary angle has crossed my mind a few times this week.
I think timing after the election would be wrong. IMHO, she take the VP nomination, then in Sept. or Oct. she pulls the trigger on him. He gets disqualified before the election and she humbly takes the nomination. If she waited until after the election he would be a seated president and the legal machinations would take years and he still might not be removed from office.
Interesting thought. I think that hillary is more electable than Obama, frankly. But she may not want to offend black voters by hitting Obama over the head with a hammer.
Still, there are ways of doing it where she shifts the blame to someone else. Bush, for instance. After all, he’s at the bottom of every evil.
