> Because of his avoiding, I do think he has a citizenship problem.

Unlikely. He might have a “natural born” citizenship problem.
So does McCain. He even went to the Senate Judiciary
Committee about it.

More likely, there is just something embarrassing on the COLB,
like no father’s name, or BHO2’s middle name used to be
Mugabe, Mohammed, Megido or something.

The next move (from the Official Kerry SF180 Playbook),
is to “release” the record in question, but only to
reliable in-the-tank media pals.

McCain has no natural born citizenship problem. Both McCain’s parents were US Citizens. McCain’s father was serving in the armed forces of the USA at the time of his birth. US law at the time clearly gave McCain citizenship by virtue of his parents ctizenship (both of them). US tradition has ALWAYS accorded full uncontested citizenship to the children of married American servicemen stationed abroad.

By the way, if this is NOT the case than every American citizen serving abroad in our military needs to demand being sent home as soon as their wife (or themselves) is pregnant to provide full rights to their child.

But they don’t because as I said the law at the time, the law now and American tradition are all clear.

It is MUCH less clear that a 19 year old girl goes to Kenya to give birth to her shack-ups kid, who is a Kenyan that the child of such an illicit relationship is a US citizen.

Especially circa 1960 when Obama was born, we still were a society where concepts like honor, duty, fidelity, the importance of marraige vows were more than occassionally revived marketing slogans. They were the lifeblood of our laws, traditions and customs.

Obama’s Mom was clearly outside the mainstream, far outside it, in 1960. McCain’s parents, at the time of his birth on the Panama Canal Zone were fully in the middle of the social norms of the time.

The AMAZING thing is that the NY Times already tried to run this bullshit claim up the flagpole in the A section of the paper. They even got some usual suspects, liberal academics who will always go to be for some lefty smear campaign, to go along with this calumy. I believe it was Turley who was the quoted stooge. (I bet he’s a SC nominee under the Messiah).

Meanwhile, like the Edwards story, the MSM has scrupulously avoided dealing with this at all. Hmmm. Where there is smoke, is there fire?
