“McCain...and Lieberman are the perfect choices to flip off the Far Left and Far Right...and get this country running smoothly again.”

Just who do you consider the “far right” to be. Do you have any idea how many Republicans in Congress are being elected by conservatives, from southern states and mid-western and western states? If you think you’ll just spit in these folks face over and over and still have their votes, their you’re delusional.

You’re just the sort of elitists, nose-in-the-air Republican snob who’ve assure the party minority status. You’re kidding yourself that there are millions of Dem. voters just waiting to jump to the Republican side. And any anti-Obama vote this year will not necessarily become a long-term Republican vote.

Specifically what changes in major issues do you think Republicans need to make that will attract all these new voters?

Let's try to do without the personal attacks...for a change. Let's agree to debate this as gentlemen, okay?

I am a Goldwater Conservative. Not a Jerry Falwell or Tom Tancredo Conservative.

And if Ronald Reagan were alive and lucid today...he would agree with me. He understood that the country has a penchant to go Left. He understood that getting 51% of what you wanted is a victory of sorts.

The Religious Right had been very influential in bringing us Ronald Reagan in 1980. But he would have won in 1984 regardless of their support. Since then...IMO, they have a over-inflated sense of themselves.

Now that the contrast between the parties is clearer...and Cultural War is being fought in the open...we need to win elections....not cling to one-or-two issues...demanding litmus tests of our candidates.

Simply do the opposite of what the far-RIGHT fringe wants. Show the average American voter that the Republican Party is not controlled by crazed zealots poorly disguised as good bible-carrying Christians.

Show the country that not all Conservatives are scary.

Hey HOW ABOUT THAT???....that's what McCain is trying to do!!!

Cheers FRiend!
