Well, if you dig waaaaaaay back, there is some indication that McCain's involvement in the Forrestal incident was more than the latest 'official' version being told. Many of the websites claiming McCain was responsible cite a scenario that is not consistent with news reported during the first hours/days following the tragedy. My guess is that any real evidence is long gone and buried by now. Along with all of the Vietnam POW records.
I'm still wondering if the Jane Fonda wing of the Dems is going to dig out one of the 20+ propaganda tapes that McCain made for the Vietcong. Probably not, though. I don't think they want to highlight their own traitorous actions anymore.
