If the Left thought they could gain a poll point by slamming McCain on his first marriage they would do it no matter what we are saying.
Plus I don’t think many people would take Democrats very seriously if they harped on about marriage anyway.
All I am saying is that I would bet that John McCain would just as soon have this fade quickly for a variety of reasons. not only does he not have a perfect marital history (like millions of other people), he has been putting O on the defensive and this changes the theme.
Look, I do not like John Edwards, but there is no glee in this story beyond his being defeated as a political force, if he really was one.
