The smell of barbecue has been known to disorient those Russkie pilots. They call it Shashlik Effect. Then we hit’em with the possums.

I agree. With what we did to Serbia regarding Kosovo, the Russians can claim genocide or some other BS as to why they support the rebels.
I wonder if this has any relation to the massive naval buildup I read about earlier headed to the middle east.

I have no idea if this story is true, but I have seen it in more than one place. I wonder if the Rooskies are just trying to flex their muscle in the region.

The Russians are smart. They know history. They waited for the right moment, when we're over a barrel financially, overextended militarily and when the current administration is at its political nadir. I know they're not angels, but they're smart.

“It’s not our fight. We don’t have the resources. The public won’t support more foreign adventures. A truly great power knows what’s important to its interests and what isn’t.
Leave this to Georgia and Russia. “

Jesus Christ. You are cutting and pasting the same tired response on every Russia-Georgia thread. No one is saying we ought to fight the damn Russians. But we can support the Georgians (One of our few allies in Iraq)in ways other than war. From this article, it looks like that has laready started.

Let’s do fight the Russians, they are weak, and causing trouble.

And your point is?

The truth is worth repeating, and real conservatives are soon going to learn that the neo-con policy of extending American power through military might and dubious alliances was never conservative nor ever wise.

I'm not hitting abuse, just letting you know:  So many words to use, picking phrases that are tantamount to a slap in the face, don't do any of us any good.
