Now I feel obligated to "earn" such a letter. Can anyone recommend an organization devoted to exposing Obama? Googling "expose Obama" gives a relevant site. Tom Matzzie can go to hell.

Is it just me, or are the Democrats actually trying to spur the Republics on to win this election?
They keep making these arrogant mistakes.

The group is also hoping to be able to respond if an outside conservative group broadcasts a television advertisement attacking Senator Barack Obama, or another Democratic candidate, by running commercials exposing the donors behind the advertisements.Expose Bud Day???

Yeah that will work.

Am I the only one that thinks that this is illegal? We used to call this extortion or intimidation or threats, take your pick. I am sure what they are doing will result in some serious law suits against them.

We want to stop the Swift Boating before it gets off the ground, said Mr. Matzzie, who described his effort as going for the jugular. In other words, stop spreading Truth! If you want to stop people from searching for truth then stop hiding it, "Mr Matzzie!" (Cool surname if it's spelled correctly)
One thing which I will go to the life extreme for is fighting anyone who seriously would prevent the light from being shone. "Swiftboating" is a term liberal hate groups (Includes DBM) use in the exact opposite meaning from what the original suggested because they can't stand truth, or more importantly anyone searching for truth.

The warning letter is intended as a first step, alerting donors who might be considering giving to right-wing groups to a variety of potential dangers, including legal trouble, Legal trouble for making legal campaign contributions? The FEC should nail this guy to the wall.

Led by Tom Matzzie, a liberal political operative who has been involved with some prominent left-wing efforts in recent years, the newly formed nonprofit group, Accountable America, is planning to confront donors to conservative groups, hoping to create a chilling effect that will dry up contributions. Call the IRS - a non-profit engaging in clearly partisan activity - they are only targeting GOP donors.
Call the Justice Department - this is RICO bait.
Call the FEC - a group is attempting to hinder legal participation in the US electoral process.
Man, there is SOO much wrong with this. Someone failed to get legal advice and will pay the piper if they made good on these threats.

My God, just how MANY of these liberal groups exist? It seems like a new one pops up every five minutes! Do our tax dollars go to support them? Can we cut them off if they are, make them swim on their own? Or is it Soros-funded?

Jerome Corsi and Bob Beckel were on F&F this morning, talking about Dr. Cosrsi’s book. bob was not attacking Dr. Corsi this time, but he did say they (the osamabama camp) would not let it go by without a challenge. Of course, he had no facts that would refute anything, but tried anyway.

Nearly 10,000 of the biggest donors to Republican candidates and causes across the country will probably receive a foreboding warning letter in the mail next week. I guess these pinheads are also too stupid to realize that, among 10,000 people who can afford to give thousands of dollars to GOP candidates, there are going to be a large number of persons with enough money to hire lawyers to give Mazzie a complete protological exam of his own. Under oath.
