BEIJING - A Chinese Islamic faction that has threatened to attack the Olympics released a new video warning Muslims to stay away from the Beijing games and avoid buses, trains, planes and buildings used by Chinese, a U.S. group that monitors militant organizations said Thursday.
On the six-minute video issued Wednesday, two days before the opening of the games, a representative of the Turkistan Islamic Party reiterates the group's threats against the Olympics made in a video last month, according to SITE Intelligence Group. It shows images of the Beijing Olympics logo in flames and an explosion over an Olympics venue.......

exactly. The Chinese ain’t gonna be no victims of terrorism. They would simple imprison anybody who looked like they might be a raghead. Just like they imprisoned all the people who were secretly praying to Jesus Christ.
I only hope the ‘terrorists’ the Chinese keep bragging about having get treated as badly as those Christians did. As far as I’m concerned, the Chinese government cannot accomplish, in this lifetime, enough penance to make up for what they have done to children trying to learn about and praise G-d.

Terrorist target everyday people, likely much like you, me or your neighbor. In China, it is likely most of the bus passengers would be apolitical, just trying to get along and stay out of trouble. They supported the democracy protesters but not to the point of taking to the street. Some of them are members of underground Christian Churches or sympathetic to Falun Gong.
If they assassinate the party elite, OK but the track record of Muslim terrorists is train bombs, bus bombs and murder at the World Trade Center. Easy for me to pick sides.

I would not be too eager to wish China bad things, they are an influential country in that region and if terrorists make a government like that fall or bend over, we’ll have another Spain in our hands. I don’t see the Chinese back down, they will take action with full force and throw more soldiers at the terrorists then they can wave a detonator at.
That being said, if China is attached and Obama wins,woe are us, finally we might get a hard hitting ally in the war on terror and we’ll have a president who wont even swat a fly. If McCain wins, it’s lights out for the terrorists if Chine get’s in. I might be wrong, but I’m sure my conservative friends wont post a million bad words (Read the Profanity article).

The Chinese have been oppressing their muslim population for quite some yrs.
Of course I don’t want to see any innocent people getting hurt. But China’s been hurting quite a few in its attempt to present itself the way it wants to be seen during the Olympics. I’d sure like to see their Olympic showcase plans scrambled. As far as Chinese citizens are concerned, I imagine that dissidents won’t be among those that are be allowed in or near the Olympic venues will, so if any Chinese got hurt by terrorists, it would tend to be government loyalists. But of course, Muslim terrorists love to blow up children and Westerners too. I just hope that the terrorists end up forcing the Chinese government to undertake security measures that will detract from the planned PR show.
This is more or less a Turkish nationalist group making an appeal for funds from fellow Muslims abroad. It should be interesting to see if their fundraising gets a bump after these incidents, given that few people knew of their existence prior to 2008. Their Achilles heel in terms of accomplishing their attacks is their Caucasian features. Trying to pass themselves off as Westerners is not the perfect solution, since Westerners also get a lot of scrutiny. I suspect many of them will be brushing up on their English, in preparation for the big game.
The leaders of China are jealous deities - their whole attitude has always been - if you want to worship something, worship them.
If the Chinese got really serious...what’s to stop a Chinese army marching through Afghanistan (check your map, they share a border), into Iran and out the other side into Saudi Arabia.

I can only agree. To date, Joey Cheek, Gold medals in Winter Olympics speed skating, has had his visa revoked by the Chi Coms and they are concerned that Kobe Bryant might just say something about the Sudan, a topic he has been vocal on. Perhaps some medal winners might speak up for Darfur, Burma or Tibet at the medals ceremony?? What would the Chinese Government do?? I don't really know but whatever they did would damage them in the eyes of all but Fidel and Hugo!!!
Well’ they won’t have any problems initiating a surge in the troubled area if necessary. Send in a couple of million troops and its neutralized.
