Your timing and choice of words run counter to your desires. Just when there is momentum, due to changing facts on the ground, you pour cold water. Now is the time to ENCOURAGE them and their supporters.

I urge you to reflect on how your words affect what you want to see happen. You're hurting your own cause by being so negative. It's pointless. What do you expect to accomplish?

I called and asked if she was still in Wyoming. Nope she’s recently returned to Washington! I told the guy that she was all we got in that little state and that she *really* needed to support her party. He told me he’d pass the message on.
