Indeed. And since schools will be opening, demand for gasoline and diesel will start to increase.

The public schools here open tomorrow and there will be four school buses (two elementary, one middle, and one high school) running through my neighborhood twice a day, five days per week. Also, morning and afternoon traffic increases by about 25 percent during the school year.

Up here in Northern NYS, I'm also concerned with kerosene costs which will reach approx. $4.89 a gallon. That's more than a one dollar increase per gallon since last winter.

Just figure what it will cost for 1000 gallons of kerosene. BTW, if your tank is outdoors, you must use kerosene to keep it from getting cold and sluggish as would do fuel oil.
