I absolutely agree with that. Republicans have wanted to drill in ANWR since ‘95. The public is just now catching up.
As I recall Dick Cheney was working on an energy bill. Seems he got subpoenaed before congress by Henry Waxman or some such. Seems like Dick Cheney won the court case on the matter.
This is part of the reason why the pubbies can’t get traction. Although I’ll be the last to defend so many of the spineless RINOS, with the pubbies you got to wade through sharks and vicious lions to get anything done, yes even as the majority.
As a minority....well they’re doing what they have to do right now. I know these guys in the House got the Dems worried. Already Obama flopping around over all this attention.
So kudos to those guys and let’s hope the pubbies keep on fighting fire with fire. Being polite and civil ain’t doing it.
