I am sorry, but the President can call a special session, according to the constitution, whether the speaker agrees or not.

Yeah, the president can call Congress for a special session. But then Pelosi can just use the gavel and adjourn immediately. She has too much power.

She either has to compromise, or the Dems continue to lose public approval. Too late to sweep this under the carpet - it won’t go away.

It would be amusing if a special session were called and Pelosi used the gavel to adjourn - get that on tape for a commercial and the Dems lose big. They can’t win as long as they are against the majority of the people, and the story continues in some form in the media.
