Wait until Taxachusetts residents start coughing up for winter heating. They’ll be looking for some kind of relief and elimination of the state income tax will appear very attractive.

Oh yes! I started paying for my propane for this coming winter two months ago.
This past January I paid $585 for a fill from almost empty. I CAN'T imagine what it would be this year. I saw that bill and started feeding wood into the stove, and my girls helped me keep it going 24/7.
Wood costs me $250 a month. My propane bill dropped to $50 (with the thermostat set at 62) but I'm still worried. My wildlife work really drops off a lot in the cold months.
