I read somewhere up thread that Blount or Boehner will not be there today and it’s not clear if either will be there any time this week.
Why? Don’t they know their schedule? I certainly think they should both be there or else it looks lame.
As far as Blunt and Boehner being awol today, it doesn't surprise me. Do they think the reps who did decide to show for this important issue had no commitments of their own to clear from their calendars? Evidently THEIRS are more important. As leader of the minority party in the House, Boehner's [supposed to be]the general. And he's left the troops with a pat on the back and regrets he can't do battle due to prior commitments. But carry on, soldiers. He'll save them some cake. Meh.
