the Dems are banking on the month of August being a month that Americans get used to gasoline at $3.50+ a gallon. Already the price is dropping daily, cent by cent. The Dems figure if they can wait this out, and they know it's a bombshell, it will blow over and after recess life can go on.

I don't think so , because too many people have lost mega-bucks they projected on their trade-ins of pick-ups and SUV's. Those aren't coming back. It was like the frog in the water on the stove. While gas prices inched up, it was no cause for alarm. But when the water shot up to the boiling point, everybody's jumping out.

Did anyone take note of what Juan Williams said about Obama very near the close of Fox News Sunday?

Juan Williams say something to the effect that Obama needs to be this and that — (I think the following is an exact quote) — “... instead of being an empty vessel of change.”

Can anyone get this to Limbaugh?
