Hildy, you can bet your bottom dollar that those who proclaim the loudest that they will not sacrifice their principles to vote for McCain would also be the loudest to bitch endlessly about a president Obama. BUT I no longer see the Big O winning. Some who complained endlessly and refused to support RINOs in 06 haven’t shut up yet about the lousy D Congress.

It goes the other way, too.

When and if there is a President-elect Scarface, and he starts announcing his RINO and Democrat cabinet appointees as early Christmas presents in late 2008 leading up to his inauguration, you will hear groans and roars of pain here on FR, a good portion of it coming from those who foolishly supported this Trojan Horse Virus. Of course others will be neutralized, and anyway, they will be busy starting the cultic, adoring, almost slobbering, "Day in the Life of Juan and Cindy" threads on FR.

Yes...you are 100% correct. There are those who always see things as half empty, as the saying goes. I prefer not to live my life that way and I think there are many here, like yourself, you prescribe to that very theory. We are happier all around. I feel sorry for those who only see doom and gloom if they don’t agree with something 100%. It’s not the way the world works.
