Uh, Huckabee remained in the race long after Romney dropped out. If you discount the moonbat Ron Paul, he had McCain all to himself for more than a month and refused to throw a single punch. It became clear to most of us that he was nothing more than a Judas Goat to hand the nomination to McCain. His high water mark was Iowa when he managed to win 40% of the Evangelical Christian vote. He couldn’t even equal that in South Carolina where EC’s were a much larger part of the electorate.

He was pulling just enough to deny a first ballot win when he dropped out. It would have been easier with two. Just ask McCain how easy split votes made things.
