No, actually she just south of Foothill Blvd, near the High School. Her biggest concern were her china closts and her grandsons! Both ok. What freaked her out was no phone service for such a relatively small quake. Something she did not expect. How I miss Glendora and California!
Take care!

Gotta say, that somewhat disturbed me too, the lack of phone service. The outage was about 1 hour, and it affected not just landline use, but cell service as well. And it wasn't right after the quake, but a good twenty minutes after.

SMS via cell, data traffic via cell, and even DSL services remained live.

At no time did the power flash or flicker, the three battery conditioners I'm running showed no input level differences, so I don't think there was an internal effect, but a programmed response. If we had a fire, say from a candle being knocked over by the quake, we'd better be able to handle it ourselves.

Totally unexpected and unmatched from previous earthquakes, in my experience.
