It's no doubt that he will be forced to leave the Senate but it would be wise for the next Republican that wants his seat to pound away at the needs to drill in Alaska and since every citizen in Alaska gets royalties it would benefit them.

since every citizen in Alaska gets royalties Not so. The PFD distributes from return on investment, and not everybody is signed up. It is pure socialism anyway.

drill in Alaska and since every citizen in Alaska gets royalties it would benefit them. Oil production in ANWR or NPRA will not add to the Permanent Fund Dividend that Alaskans receive. That is only for production on State Land. ANWR and NPRA as well as the Alaskan OCS is all federal. Alaskan's would benefit from the jobs and other related infrastructure, but not the royalties.
If ANWR and NPRA were state lands, they would have flowed oil decades ago like Prudhoe Bay and the rest of the producing North Slope.
