Alaska and Hawaii were the the last two states to be admitted to the union. Their needs are far different from what goes on in mainland America.

Do their needs include $400 million bridges that are incredibly ridiculous? (although they do make those around Stevens quite a bit of money)

Thankfully Sarah Palin, a Republican, put an end to that bridge.

So just how much does Texas piss away on needed projects? Alaska needs some roadways, a good place to start is at the population center. Namely,a bridge from Anchorage to Knik side.
