What’s changed is that the men are being locked up, a few at a time. The women and kids are mostly living away from the cult compound.

There are still hundreds of these 'men' roaming free and you are now saying that the women and children are safe? Do you know for a fact that these men are going to be arrested anytime soon? Doesn't the State have a responsibility to go round up all the women and children to protect them from all these men?

If it was Ok to round the women and children up before, isn't it even more important to round them up now?

You are stuck in an earlier reality, arguing a point that’s been answered by the State courts.

Nevertheless, as I said on another thread, http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/2052757/posts?page=228

“there are points of decision where the individual’s right to life and liberty — even the right to life and liberty of the unborn or under-18 minor dependent — trumps the usual family limits that we place on government and our concerns about freedom to practice our religion without government intervention.”

When two rights conflict, go back to the basics: life, liberty, pusuit of happiness. And in that order. Threats to life always trump the second. Permanent threats to liberty are weighed against threats to life and temporary restraints on liberty. Pursuit of happiness can never be allowed to cause a threat to another’s life or liberty.

There aren’t “hundreds” of men on the flds cult compound. 6 have been indicted and arraigned. More indictments to come, according to Attorney General Abbott.

Nope. The only people we are rounding up are those who personally insist we round up other people, instead of discussing the reality of what the authorities are currently doing in following the law.
