Of the boys who are not kicked out, all have the opportunity to leave after reaching adulthood and before becoming a biological parent to one or more children. Not saying it would be easy from a psychological standpoint, but a heck of a lot easier than it is for the women. That’s why I think it’s reasonably to apply a different standard to the women. At least a few, however, are NOW in a position to stay out of the cult and keep their children with them, and to the extent that they continue to cooperate in things like child abuse and harboring fugitives and giving false information to authorities, then they should be prosecuted. Though in most cases, I think it would be best to use the legal maneuver where a conviction is obtained, but if the person participates in mandated counseling, education, supervised living situation, community service, etc for a set period of time, and stays out of further trouble, then the conviction is removed from their record.

Whether anyone ever knows about, or acknowledges it, I think that is what was planned all along.
Remove the bad apples, and let the rest have their barrel back.
