Hagel: McCain Treading On Very Thin Ground (Hagel, STFU and get out of the party!)
CBS ^ | 7/27/2008 | cbs

Sen. Chuck Hagel, who accompanied Sen. Barack Obama on his trip to South Asia and Iraq last week, criticized the McCain campaign for its latest television ad attacking the Democratic candidate.

The ad blasts Obama for not visiting wounded troops during his visit to Germany. Obama has said he chose not to cancel a visit to a military hospital there after consultations with the Pentagon, due to concerns that such a visit might be seen as using wounded troops for political purposes.

The McCain ad, which contains footage of Obama bouncing a basketball before U.S. military personnel in Kuwait, implied that Obama was being disrespectful to troops by making "time to go to the gym" during his overseas trip while at the same time cancelling a visit with wounded troops.

Any Republican who supports Obama is not a Republican or a conservative AT ALL.

That means you, Chuck.

“Hagel makes McCain look like a radical right winger.”

Yes, and so does his twin brother, Barack Obama.

We're stuck with one of the two RINOs and at least the one running for President is for winning in the WOT.

Hagel is a jacka$$ and belongs in the dimocRAT party. Heck he might even be Obama’s running mate.

Obama has said he chose not to cancel a visit to a military hospital there

If he chose "not to cancel", wouldn't that mean the meeting was a go? I guess news outlets like CBS don't even care about writing their spins clearly anymore.

It must be quite the blow to Hagel that the only person left that takes him somewhat seriously is an amateur like Obama.

Why do people get elected in one party when they really support the opposite party?

It must be an effective ad. CBS and by extension the Obama campaign is in a tizzy.

Thin ground??? Is Hagel too worried about the end of the global warming hoax to mention the word “ice”?

I don't think that describes Hagel or McCain for that matter. They both were driven by their desires to be loved by the media and will do anything to please the media.

They lack core beliefs. McCain somehow found himself as the candidate for president and is forced to take some positions on issues. All of a sudden he is no longer the media darling and Hagel takes his place.

Hussein Obama is so wishy washy that it's to McCain's advantage to actually take a position. This is my opinion on what we have here.
