I say good for them. Too many of my liberal Jewish friends are mindless gun-grabbers. It's good to see a few Jews waking up.

Interesting, I know nothing of the group at all.

On the one hand, there's no need for an organized militia to protect Jews in the United States, though from a quick look at their website that doesn't seem to be what they're about.

On the other self defence, the ability to protect oneself and family, is essential and frequently ignored in the Jewish community.

Whether you're in (and are confident in) a one or twenty minute police response zone, whether you live or die is on your sholders. A concealed carry permit holder could have ended the Washington incident quickly. Were there not an armed, private, guard at the El Al counter, more than three might have died.

Nothing wrong with a Jewish oriented 2nd Amendment group willing to provide firearms training. For the nutballs offended by the concept, that's life. Armed Jews are no threat unless you wish them harm.

I have been very worried about this for quite some time now. I have asked my mother, who works part time in the office at a Reformed Congregation, to immediately leave work and spend a few days with us if and when she hears of Israel attacking Iran.

It would be nice to not be the only armed individual trying to evacuate the Temple if it came under attack during business hours.

Setting up a response team to checkmate terrorist cells, and using American citizens who are IDF vets to help train the team members is a great idea. I dont see anything wrong with it.

Looks some on this thread are trying to find any excuse they can to morph this into some type of anti-semitic propaganda spin cycle to me. . Makes me want to vomit.
