I wonder what McCain's positions might be in a few more years.

McCain's Senior Team - questions about John McCain's foreign policy plans
Insight on the News, March 13, 2000 by J. Michael Waller

(snip)

National-security issues, which McCain sees as one of his strongest points, may end up being his Achilles' heel. Already there is concern among his conservative friends that McCain may lack the disposition to command, showing an uncertain sense of purpose and outright bad political judgment.

"What's the first thing you would do as president?" the Detroit News recently asked McCain.

"The first thing I would do," the candidate answered, "is call in John Kerry, Bob Kerrey, Joe Biden, Zbigniew Brzezinski, Henry Kissinger, Dick Lugar, Chuck Hagel and several others and say we've got to get foreign-policy, national-security issues back on track."

Brzezinski was very active -- even undermining the State Dept. and lying about it some say -- in matters leading up to the revolution in Iran. He was very active as things fell apart.

I think we have gotten all the help one standard-sized republic can stand from the likes of Mr. Brzezinski.

So let me get this straight...Zbigniew Brzezinski, one of Obama’s foreign policy advisors, is telling us that Obama’s opponent, John McCain, will cause the end of the world?

Well, that does it, I’m convinced.

Thanks. Now I am really going to have nightmares.

I well remember how clowns like Brezinski and Ted Kennedy smeared Ronald Reagan in just this way — “oh, my, he’s sooooo confrontational, ooooooooo he’s scaring the Soviets, ooooooohh, he wants WWIII” — they were all full of crap then and they’re still full of crap now. “Peace through strength” and willingness to confront mortal threats before they get stronger, that’s what’s needed, not a bunch of gutless spineless ‘Rat-weasels.

What we didn't know at the time, but do now from the KGB archives, was a study that argued that Carter's reelection would be proof that a preemptive nuclear strike on the US would be successful, and there would be zero retaliation from the US. Between Teddy Kennedy begging the KGB for help in defeating Reagan, and the four years of weakness and unilateral disarmament, the soviets had the Carter bunch pegged as both spineless and brainless.

Zbig seems ready to take over at the point he left off.

That phuckwit Brzezinski conveniently forgets that HE was the one who traveled to Amman Jordan in the Spring of 1980 under direct instructions from then-President Jimmy Carter, where he met with representatives of Saddam’s government (some say with Saddam himself), and the message he conveyed from Carter was that the United States would not look harshly upon Iraq if Saddam was to attack, seize and annex disputed territories with Iran.

Why? Because the Buffoon from Georgia was still wringing his hands and moaning “what to do? what to do?” about our hostages still being held by those Islamo-thugs in Iran, and this was a clumsy attempt to put some more ‘pressure’ on Tehran.

Oh it produced some pressure alright, it resulted in the Iran-Iraq War of 8 years duration, with hundreds of thousands of people killed, including little Iranian children by the bushels, who were recruited to serve the Assahollah Khomeini as human mine sweepers, trained and exhorted to do their duty as martyrs for ‘allah’ by noneother than Mahmoud Ahmadinejad himself, now the little runt running Iran.

I see in another thread that the Alaskan douchebag Mike Gravel thinks that George W. Bush ought to be sent to the Hague to be tried for war crimes, if Gravel had any nerve at all, he would urge that Carter and Brzezinski be sent over there first because it is THEY who are responsible for the stabbing in the back of the Shah of Iran, which led to Islamic radicals seizing control of our former ally, giving them a base of operations with which to conduct terrorist acts throughout the world.

If what Brzezinski had to say in this 1998 French interview is true, why should anyone listen to him today?

That’s really rich! The architect of mullahcracy, the man who w/ carter, the two of them, back-stabbed the king and country of Iran and peddled the “Persian saint’ Khomeini on them — of course in the case of his own beloved Poland he made certain that the first Polish Pope which would galvanize his people to lead them to REAL freedom would indeed be righteous (Pope John Paul II was of course no accident as we all know, just as Khomeini was none either. Alas that Iran had no advocates as Poland had and only ignorancy during carter’s reign.) is now telling us that McCain will bring on WWIV???

What about what he has done to the world??? Where is his culpability? Which court can the world take this criminal to to answer for his despicable crimes and his ugly legacy? Where is his shame to just shut his mouth and go away?

More telling to me than his trying to grab credit for the fall of the Soviet Union is,

Q: And neither do you regret having supported the Islamic fundamentlaism, having given arms and advice to future terrorists?

B: What is most important to the history of the world? The Taliban or the collapse of the Soviet empire? Some stirred-up Moslems or the liberation of Central Europe and the end of the cold war?

He poo poo's the rise of radical Islam and the terror of extremist jihadists. To me, he all but admits they stirred up radical Islam and sees no problem with it.

“Former US President Jimmy Carter’s national security adviser Zbigniew Brzezinski”

Yeah, people should listen to the moron who advised Carter as the stage was set for the resurgence of Islamism. Best endorsement of McLame I’ve seen in a long time: If this dolt doesn’t like McLame, the GOP candidate must be better than I thought.
