That happened to me at the Safeway.I had a Navy baseball cap on and the cashier said thanks for serving.

That had me jumping for joy the rest of the day.

It made my husband feel really good. Something about it being from a kid. While on vacation, an older man came up to us on the beach and asked my husband if he was military and he wasn’t even in uniform. The man said he could tell from his hair cut and laughed. He shook my husband’s hand and said thanks and we had a good conversation with him. Of course, that kind of thing is always nice but when it comes from a little kid, you have a sense that the future generation is going to be okay. God help the violent criminals out there if there are very many more out there growing up right now that think like my boys, because they have absolutely no sense of mercy for them.
