Okay. It's been awhile. Will issue a freeper challenge. In addition to my monthly will donate an additional $10.00 for every freeper pet picture posted. (One pet per freeper...fair is fair :o) ) Deadline, 24 hours from now.
Am doing this in memory of Rusty....our beloved Ridgeback we found on FR 4 years ago....a California freeper neighbor of the dog put out an appeal on FR to rescue him from a LA shelter. He was the most expensive "pound puppy" one could have...shipping him to Ohio...having to fence in the yard...he had a thing for walking through screens...and on and on and on. But what a wonderful four years we had with him. He died peacefully of lymphoma 2 months ago. I'll try to post a link to the thread I did about him at the Finest a few years ago.
Okay guys....CHALLENGE THROWDOWN!!!!!
Ping!

I'll start with one of mine... Our beagle enjoying the view... :~)

I have a feeling it’s more like I’ll be going down with the ship......LOL. Might as well know I fought as hard as I could which is why I give a lot of money to conservative causes and candidates. The downside is that my mailbox is filled daily with every kind of charity and conservative group imaginable and I can’t possibly give to all of them.
It does seem like whenever I get really down about the future of our country, something happens to renew my faith in it. Yesterday, we went to Wal-mart and my husband was in his flight suit still which he rarely wears in public. A little boy, about 5, came up to him and said “thank you for serving”. My husband shook his hand and told him “thank you for noticing”. His mom said “tell him what you want to be when you grow up” and the little boy said “a pilot in the Air Force”. My husband said “that is a good thing to be.....study hard”. There are still a lot of good people out there, even if it doesn’t seem like it a lot of times.

Codee was beautiful, and had such loving eyes.
He looks happy.
Rush is an Aussie.
He barks too much, but he’s a great guard dog, and very loving.
(Harmless, loveable, little fuzz-ball, heh.)

Yep, can’t forget the humor. Reading FR has me laughing out loud several times a day. There are some real wits on here.

such a beautiful face and oh, those eyes!
Here's the picture that MarkV (former California freeper posted this picture with his appeal for someone to adopt Rusty) One look and I was hooked! Everytime he messed up (which was quite often LOL )...he'd give us those puppy eyes and all we could do was love on him. He was definately a "gift from god"
