(was that the exciting news? -- I never heard!)

I will brag for a moment on Ruby the Egregious -- she went to a professional trainer to be force-fetched (a ticklish business best left to the pros so you don't hurt your dog), she was supposed to stay for 2-3 weeks but went into season and came home after only a week. The trainer was very impressed with her, and I heard through roundabout channels that he wanted her back very badly because she was such a quick learner and so keen -- and I was amazed when she came home because she was already doing some intermediate drills after just one week. I worked her on some bumpers last Saturday and she really was amazing - keen and fast as she could be. Look at her big water entry:

She's going back tomorrow because if she's a contender I want her to have every chance to excel. (And Shelley will rejoice at being Only Dog again!)
