First place, notwithstanding TD's proposition that the data comes from the hospitals, I am unwilling to accept the news report at face until I can see what is in fact behind it.

If it was in fact a hospital, identify it. Which one? Where? When? Who was the doctor? All this stuff should be in the hands of the Health Department in Hawaii and sooner or later we are likely to get our hands on it.

What is the authority for Texas D's statement that the data comes from the hospitals? Can you get someone from Department of Health to say this particular information came from a Hospital? Even if they aren't willing to say which one?

I've always questioned why Obama’s BC says “Date FILED by Register” and all other known valid ones say “Date ACCEPTED by State Registrar”. In the TD thread, someone speculated that if Obama was born a a ship in international waters and the ship cabled the birth in, that could explain this issue and also why no hospital listed.

From that site, it seems that the poster Lori is the person who called the newspaper and hospital to get them to confirm the practices in place in 1961. Her post begins at July 22 at 9:36PM. She goes on in later posts to explain it in more detail.
